		<description>Well, they've got to give the police something to do.  Ironic, with this incdent in Akihabara, a single brave officer took down a madman armed with 5 knives; a year ago 9 police officers around an apartment door let a man run free in his bare feet and escape from them.

		<description>I've noticed the police force in Japan sends out loads of staff for any one particular incident.  20 for a lone boy seems a lot.  When I was in Osaka there was threat of a fire (not a real fire presumably cos they were opened for business again later on in the day) at a ramen-ya at Dotonburi and four huge fire engines turned up, plus 8 police officers who were there just to direct traffic, seemingly.</description>
