“Yokoso Japan!” - November 20th Commemorative T-shirt
Had to post this for a bit of light amusement. As people who keep up
with this blog will recall, last November Japan introduced photographing and fingerprinting for almost all foreigners entering the country. It’s Japan’s way of saying “Welcome! We’re watching you as you may be a terrorist or criminal”. Anyway, you can now commemorate this wonderful occasion with this commemorative T-shirt! Originally found on a comment on Global Voices online (an excellent site, by the way) this is definitely a way to get both Japanese and westerners talking. Think I will be wearing one the next time I re-enter the country!
And at only Y2,500 for a T-shirt, you can’t really go wrong. Check it out here and you can be the envy of your friends!
(Note this advertising spiel is completely in jest, although the T-shirt is very real. It’s not some business venture I’m promoting but I will let you know of their service after I place my order)

I bought two shirts, one black and one grey. Both are nice.
Good quality and they arrived within 24 hours after purchase despite being told “shipping may take 3-5 days”.
