Comments: EANx33. Fun dive on 33% Nitrox with Brian. Saw a couple of stonefish (one of them sleeping. Aggressive seasnakes out there - maybe due to it being mating season. Saw a cool flatworm too.

Comments: EANx33. 3 weeks out of the water is far too long a time, but it was a nice dive. Felt a little chilly towards the end of it though. Saw a couple of small and cute nudis, and a lionfish.

Comments: EANx30. Another nice nitrox dive. Was very relaxing, although uneventful regarding what there was to see. The highlight of it was a baby black lionfish.

Comments: Advanced Open Water course: AWARE Fish ID dive. This was a relatively straightforward dive. My first with a new student, but he seemed pretty adept with his diving skills and I’ll have no problem teaching him in the future. Nice to be back teaching.

Comments: Advanced Open Water course: Underwater Navigation dive. Another good skills session, doing distance measurement using kick cycles & time, compass heading & reciprocal heading, and navigating a square pattern.

Comments: EANx33. Awesome dive back at Toilet Bowl. High tide and the water was like a lake, with a current going south. Saw a preying mantis shrimp, many nudis, 3 lionfish at safety stop depth (all different colours). Evidence of overfishing though.
