Comments: OW Dive 2.Again, more concentration needed by some students. We did quite a few skills, and had relatively few problems. I set and collected the float for the dive. We had a long bottom time too.

Comments: Flew up to Maeda after work for a post-work dive. I’m glad I did though. We got some good depth and had a decent bottom time. 5mm wetsuit is getting very warm now; summer is here!

Comments: A really good night dive tonight. Saw a couple of decent-sized cuttlefish, an octopus and a very curious sea snake! We had to escape from it at one point, but then it got upset and bolted to the surface.

Comments: OW Dive 3. Only 1 student for this dive, but her hubby came along too. She had no problems with the skills and was comfortable in the water. She uses her arms too much though and therefore uses air too quickly. Reduced air consumption will come with experience.

Comments: Lindsey’s first dive with her new equipment. She really liked the gear and it shoed in her diving. She seemed much more stable and more comfortable in the water. Her confidence seemed to increase too, which was great to see. The visibility wasn’t too good (10m, and mostly under 8m), so we decided to change location for our next dive

Comments: Dive 4 of the day and it was back to Maeda once again. The sea was flat here – you could see every diver’s bubbles from the surface. We headed right and saw some cool stuff: cuttlefish, a cute lionfish and many more.

Comments: Nitrox dive – 35%. OW Dive 3. Again, only one student for the dive. Student is very focused on her diving, and gets skills right very quickly. Her buddy was her husband, and he should probably have stayed closer to her during the dive.
