Photos from Maeda
Well, I promised myself that I’d try and post some pictures from my recent diving at Maeda Misaki, and so here they are. These were taken a couple of weeks ago, during the very short respite we had between the torrential rain. Will hopefully post some better photos once the sun comes out again and I’ve got some decent light and subject matter to work with.

There are lots of huge batfish which greet every diver as they initially descend, and often follow them throughout their entire dive.

I wanted to get a better shot of this fella, but he was very timid and not wanting to come out at all.

It seems that a dive doesn’t go by when I don’t get a shot of an anemonefish. This one decided to come and nibble on my glove just after I’d taken the shot!

I like the contrast here between the soft coral on the left and the anemone on the right.
