These logs come from yesterday’s trip to an island off Okinawa, called Tonaki-jima.  And what a beautiful couple of dives we had

Comments: My (and indeed all of our grou’s) first dive at this site, so we didn’t know what to expect.  But we were certainly pleased with what we saw.  Beautiful soft coral, stretching as far as the eye could see, in gin-clear water.  Some very pretty nudibranches, a big pufferfish and so many fish swimming around.  The fish here are much more timid and not used to divers being in the water, so good photos were at a premium.  Finished the dive with 60bar in my tank, which I was pleased with as I was using 65s, as opposed to the rest of the group who were on 80s.

Comments: What a great dive.  Myself and Brian C did some snorkelling before the dive as this was a new dive site and we didn’t know which direction to head in.  I was in the water in only trunks and felt warm - summer is definately coming.  The dive wasn’t so deep, but we saw lots.  Again, beautiful coral and some very big fish.  Saw a small reefshark swimming close to us and a couple of turtles (one very big one - over 1m in length).  Definately want to return here to dive.
Total dive time (hrs:mins): 79:07
