Big in Japan

My dive computer has returned!

Well, after being with TUSA for over 3 weeks, I finally have my IQ-700 dive computer repaired and back in my hands.  Apparently the whole thing flooded, so they must have done a great job at getting all the salt out of it.  Think I’ll dive with 2 computers though for the next couple of dives, just to be sure.

And those dives could be tomorrow.  Providing the weather’s good, I intend to do some boat diving in the Keramas.  Will give a report of that if it happens later in the week.

Good stuff you got it back. Were you relying on the old tables in the meantime? :)

Oh, the days of being able to dive that often!

Hope it goes / went well on the planned dive.

I was using the tables for some planning, but for some of the dives I did when my computer was being repaired, I managed to use another computer (an IQ-800). Those are very nice, with a vibrating function to give you warnings - much better than the beeping in my opinion.
