Comments: Contrary to the weather forecast, this morning eas beautiful.  And the visibility had certainly picked up from yesterday afternoon, and the fish were out.  Did a one-way Maeda dive for the first time and it was a really relaxed dive.  Both Brian & I were pleased at our slow air consumption, even at depth.  We hit 33m but only for a few minutes.

Comments: NOTE ***DECO DIVE***.  Brian wanted to check out his new dive computer so we both went marginally over our NDL on our computers.  The computers kicked into deco mode without any problems and we immediately started a slow ascent to start off-gassing.  It took time for us to start working off the nitrogen, even when at 12-15m.  We worked it off though and made a very conservative ascent with plenty of safety stops.  Force hydrated post-dive to be completely on the safe side.  When my IQ-700 computer comes back from being repaired I think I’ll up the conservatism level when I do deep dives like the Emmons.
